Great Backyard Bird Count

Calling all citizen scientists: the 2026 Great Backyard Bird Count is upon us! Join a naturalist on a birding excursion to identify and record as many birds as possible and have our observations uploaded to Cornell’s bird population database. Bring binoculars if you have them, dress for the weather, and wear good hiking shoes for navigating moderate slopes and uneven terrain. This program will be cancelled in the event of rain/snow or temperatures below freezing. Signup required. Limited to 15 participants.
