Meet Soldiers Delight Conservation at National Night Out!

Residents of Owings Mills and anyone who appreciates the beauty of the Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area are invited to stop by the Soldiers Delight Conservation, Inc. outreach display during the Owings Mills New Town Community Association's Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Visitors can learn about the unique ecology of the habitat's serpentine barrens, discover the importance of protecting its rare species of flora and fauna, and find out how local residents can help preserve this remarkable natural treasure for future generations. Whether you're a longtime nature enthusiast or simply curious about Maryland's most biodiverse conservation area, SDCI board members and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and share information.
