Holiday Open House

Get into the holiday spirit! Take a behind the scenes tour of the aviary at Soldiers Delight NEA where injured and non-releasable raptors and other animals live when they are not serving as ambassadors in Patapsco Valley State Park's Scales & Tales program. Pick a wishing star from a tree in our lobby and fulfill the wish of a bird or turtle or snake for badly needed supplies and gear. Fill out an application and make a donation to sponsor one of our animals for a year and have your name proudly displayed on our wall of sponsors!

Buy a scrumptious baked treat at our bake sale and view the fascinating animal and environmental exhibits created by the staff at Patapsco Valley State Park. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser go toward ongoing conservation and restoration efforts at Soldiers Delight NEA. Come visit the aviary, view our exhibit on invasives control and buy a baked treat for a worthy cause as we celebrate the winter season in style at Soldiers Delight NEA.
